Annie

Annie was found as a stray and she ended up having heartworms. Annie got very sick during her treatment and we almost lost her a couple of times. But she was a trooper and pulled through. She found her forever home through Labs4Rescue in the New England area and then they moved to California where she happily resides today. Her mom sent us the following email:

I thought you might like a picture of Annie!  She's doing great!!!!  I keep thinking how lucky I got by adopting her.  It was definitely the best thing that happened to me this year!

We are enjoying life in California.  She has adapted well.  You wouldn't believe the dog she is now.  At Christmas we were all laughing because 5 months ago she would hide in my room with all the people around, now we are tripping over her because she wants to be a part of everything.  She was even sitting in my lap while we were opening presents!  We have no problems with doors anymore, she's even going under the Christmas tree to retrieve her ball. It still cracks me up to watch her play with the tennis ball for hours by herself.

She's a great dog, and a great companion.  I don't know how I could have made it through everything this year without her.  Thank you both for making this happen.  She has a lot of people that care for her and love her!! She's my special girl and I'll never forget everything she's gone through. She deserves a great life and I believe she's getting the best one!!!  Oh, and yes....she's spoiled!!!

Thank you again for helping the two of us find each other. It was definitely meant to be.

Happy Holidays!
